Monthly Meeting for March 2008

Meeting called to order at 1336 by Public Safety Officer Wargowsky.

Present:            Clerk/Treasurer Tim Kotzian

                        Maintenance Foreman Randy Johnson

                        Breitung Maintenance Foreman Dale Swanson

                        Water/Wastewater Operator Matt Tuchel

                        Public Safety Officer Peter Wargowsky

Agenda was reviewed and approved without discussion.

Minutes from February meeting were reviewed and approved without discussion.

Vision Statement was presented to members.  Motion by Kotzian, 2^nd by Johnson to forward vision statement to City Council for approval.  All yes, motion carried.

All departments in attendance have signed the Endorsement of Safety and Health Program.  We need signatures from City Council, Emergency Management Director, Fire Department, and Police Department.

Discussed City Council’s responsibilities for Safety Committee.  Motion by Johnson, 2^nd by Tuchel to forward responsibilities to City Council for approval, with one spelling correction.  All yes, motion carried.

Discussed Supervisor’s responsibilities for Safety Committee.  Motion by Tuchel, 2^nd by Johnson with three (3) corrections.  All yes, motion carried.

Discussed Employee’s responsibilities for Safety Committee.  Motion by Tuchel, 2^nd by Kotzian to approve as presented.  All yes, motion carried. 

Next meeting of committee will be on April 3^rd, 2008 at 1300 in the Council chambers.

Motion by Johnson, 2^nd by Swanson to adjourn.  Meeting adjourned at 1426.
