A meeting of the Gundersen Board of Trustees was called to order by Chair Gary Burgess.
Present: Abrahamson, Burgess, Heinowski, Kotzian, Lamppa, S. Majerle.
Absent: Ed Majerle.
Motion by Abrahamson supported by Majerle to approve the minutes of 12/11/07 as presented by the Secretary. All yes. Motion carried.
A discussion was held on the Board member terms. The City has appointed the following:
Herbert Lamppa 2008 at large
Tim Kotzian 2008 at large
Sheldon Majerle 2010 Forest rep
Tom Heinowski 2010 Council rep
Gary Burgess 2009 at large
Steve Abrahamson 2009 Council rep
Ed Majerle 2009 Forest rep
The term expires at the end of the designated year.
Motion by Kotzian supported by Abrahamson to authorize the Chair and Treasurer to purchase two additional CDs up to a total of $25,000 for 15 months and try to get several rate quotes. All yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Lamppa supported by Majerle to approve the following:
CPI: 206.744
Rollback: $27,591.63
City 75%: $ 5,463.90
Forest 15%: $ 1,092.78
Comm. Ed 10% $ 728.52
Misc. $ 1,400.00
All yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Majerle supported by Abrahamson to appoint John Cope as the Trust Attorney and Walker, Giroux, and Hahne as auditors for 2008. All yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Abrahamson supported by Kotzian to grant the T-S Historical Society $500.00 and BEST Baseball $228.52 from Community Education account. All yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Kotzian supported by Majerle to pay bills. All yes. Motion carried.
Motion by Kotzian supported by Majerle to adjourn. Time: 4:52PM
